The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differs from most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.

Recognizing outstanding student academic achievement, Assumption College has named more than 500 students to the undergraduate Dean's List for the fall 2014 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Assumption students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 for a five-class, 15-credit semester.

More than 1,425 students were named to The University of Scranton Dean's List, which recognizes students for academic excellence during the 2014 fall semester. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours to make the Dean's List.

Springfield College Recognizes Dean's List Students for the 2014 Fall Semester.

The following students were named to the dean's list at Bates during the first semester of the 2014-2015 academic year -- a distinction earned by students whose cumulative grade point average is 3.73 or higher.

Select students have been named to the Fall 2014 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

Eastern Connecticut State University released the names of full-time students who were named to the Dean's List for the fall 2014 semester.

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that the following students qualified for the Fall 2014 Dean's List.

This past May, 16 students from Eastern Connecticut State University took a two-week global field course in London and Paris. The course, International Advertising and Public Relations (COM 370), focused on advertising strategies for international consumers within the context of the global market. The trip also included tours of well-known companies and cultural sites.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2014-15 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.

The Psychology Department and Psychology Club at Eastern Connecticut State University co-sponsored the first ever Psychological Science Night on Dec. 10 in the Student Center. Through poster and oral presentations, the event showcased the undergraduate research of 60 students in Eastern's psychology program.

This past March, 14 students from Eastern Connecticut State University spent their spring break in Israel, Jordan and the West Bank for a study abroad experience with the History Department. From March 14-22, the students, accompanied by History Professors Caitlin Carenen and David Frye, visited a number of historical sites.

The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced its 2014 Academic All-Conference Teams, with 55 student-athletes from Springfield College participating in fall sports earning recognition for their efforts in the classroom.

More than 300 Eastern Connecticut State University students took part in the Center for Community Engagement's Poverty Awareness Marathon on Sept. 19, 2014.

Lebanon Valley College is a four year residential college and believes that an LVC education is the result of distinctively curricular and co-curricular experiences in class, on campus, and in the residence halls. Approximately 1,200 LVC students live in the residence halls on campus each year.

On Oct. 15, Eastern Connecticut State University hosted its annual Scholarship Reception in the Betty R. Tipton Room of the Student Center. The event brought together major ECSU Foundation scholarship donors and their respective student-recipients. This year, more than 325 scholarships were awarded, totaling more than $750,000 in financial aid to students of all backgrounds and academic majors -- both of these totals are Foundation records.

Eastern recently released its list of newly enrolled students for the fall 2014 semester.

The Dean's Award for academic excellence is awarded to recipients with a 3.30 or higher grade-point average while enrolled in 3.75 or more course hours.

Lebanon Valley College is recognizing its high-achieving first-year students for receiving scholarships from the College. Among the incoming class of 448 students, 63 percent rank in the top 30 percent of their high school class; 12 students were valedictorians; 52 percent of students earned a scholarship worth half-tuition; and five students received the full-tuition Allwein Scholarship. The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that more than 4,000 undergraduates have qualified for the Spring 2014 Dean's List. The students represent all of Rhode Island's cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, many other states and more than a dozen countries. More than half of the students are Rhode Islanders.

This achievement is awarded to students who have participated in Eastern's clubs during the academic year. The student club programs range from social to educational, physical to spiritual, and civic engagement programs that equally affect the Eastern community.
